Death Went Fishing
03:19
. Death Went Fishing : casting lines and . out looking for souls . the sad, unhappy ones . distressed distraught ones . he will return . he will return again . wracked and ruined . we lie in this place . bones heavy on this earth . in thrall to darkness . he will return . he will return again . let us stay here . hand twined in hand . we can await him . we can outwit him . he will return . he will return again . death went fishing . looking for souls . spinning in emptiness . the lost and lonely . he will return . he will return again .

Mad As The Mist
04:43
. Mad As The Mist : bolt and bar the shutter . for the foul winds blow . our minds are at their best this night, and i seem to know . everything outside us is mad as the mist and snow . Horace there by Homer stands, Plato stands below . and here is Tully's open page . how many years ago were you and i unlettered lads mad as the mist and snow . you ask what makes me sigh old friend, what makes me shudder so . i shudder and i sigh to think that even Cicero and many-minded Homer were mad as the mist and snow .

Night Harmonium (Return)
03:57
The stars, lovely-asunder
Starlight, glory in thunder;
Stars and storms deliver
That guilt is hushed by, hearts are flushed by and melt —
But it rides time like riding a river…

Invoke Hecate
02:50
. Invoke Hecate : all the dogs that howl at night fall silent . all the books are ashes in the wind . then cast your runes and weave your spells : interpret dreams as calls and signs : invoke Hecate : invoke Hecate . all the veiny fire lies quiescent . the still and silent is no more . your crystal ball, your tarot cards : your book of Thoth, your sigil sign : invoke Hecate : invoke Hecate . patterned stars run in their fiery courses . nothing more than marsh fires for the blind . the greater work, the lesser seal : Egypt and Babylon the great : invoke Hecate : invoke Hecate . until the spark is fanned to brightness . until the voice cries through the storm . call down dominions and hosts : fathers and sons and holy ghosts : invoke Hecate : invoke Hecate .

Errant Desires
06:22
. Errant Desires :we are the errant desires of Angels . we are written in shadow and sand . water seeks its own level . rain falls gladly to the earth . white sisters twinned with grief and sorrow .in roil and murmur of the deep . attend upon our sleeping . until the mirror mists no more . we cup our hands to catch the rain’s fall . each drop both separate and conjoined . in tiny worlds that ripple outwards to lap at last on distant shores . we are the errant desires of Angels . a breath of time, a moment’s pause . dawn and dusk, dusk and dawn . rain falls gladly to the earth .

Pathless
16:28
. Pathless (pt l) :lantern lit the twisting path . threading through belichened boles . and here and there a greater space . felt and heard, but never seen . for Moon is down, and starlight falls . unseen on cloud somewhere above . and lantern light is not enough . to light more than the path before . distant hooves, the belling Pack . out in the darkness Something stirs . the Huntsman's horn winds view halloo. once more the ancient dance is joined... but all must pass, and pass again . before the glimpse of journey's end . before the clouds will part, and then... the towers and minarets of dawn...
. Pathless (pt ll) :blink frozen snapshots movement captured . & it all will fall into yr eyes . telling you yr beautiful . turning about face . breath in the sustained air . mischievous in sun-dust . in carpets of leaves as I wander . hoops & light & tracing snakes . smiling radiance . singing morning . tattered remnants . melting to water . when i’m haunted . the fire flashing the story . to put to order all my thinking . sounds taking me . stillness shatters night . lifting a veil . with you always aware of words forming . when i don’t know . the lovely night . quiet and low here where yr love will lift you up . near you so beautifully lazy & yr never still . and sweet sweet stars are falling . burning gleaming glad in a sigh every moment .

She Raises Her Eyes
03:54
. She Raises Her Eyes :calm and cold like snow . and i wanted nothing for my own . calm and cold like the fire . i was taken, broken in desire . she raises her eyes . then she laughs . then she smiles . deep december time . so cold and cruel, and all mine . and so, it was mine to turn aside . to awaken to seasons sublime . she raises her eyes .

Descent
06:26
. Descent :you'll be like the Sun for me . burning rising glowing for me . illuminated, breath-abated, a-fire for me .
the way you are … i need to hear that yr believed/believed and seen running riot, yet still & quiet . alive for me . take yr reason's answer . & let me be yr voice then . this life i make . this world i give, it's taken there & vanished there . what love is this? … i ran the roads, the travelled roads framed by that hurt . not unknown or consumed here . or turned to stone . this life i make . this world i give . taken there, and vanished there . take yr reason's answer - & let me be yr voice then .

Arrow
04:18
. Arrow : i thought of your beauty, and this arrow, made out of a wild thought, is in my marrow . there's no man may look upon her, no man, as when newly grown to be a woman, tall and noble but with face and bosom delicate in colour as apple blossom . this beauty's kinder yet for a reason . i could weep that the old is out of season .

Yeats' Dance
06:23
. YEATS' DANCE : dance there upon the shore, what need have you to care for wind or water's roar . and tumble out your hair that the salt drops have wet . being young you have not known the fool's triumph, and yet love lost as soon as won . nor the best labourer dead, and all the sheaves to bind . what need have you to dread the monstrous crying of the wind .
(poem by W.B. Yeats) .
