UNSUNG, THE SUN KNOWS : yr eyes are light /seeing no grace/just barren lines/a silent drawn face/this mirror bright/is lit with music/etched so quiet/so still as to break . above the streets the skies the rivers of teeming tears/wait in yr soul/for yr eyes to dry and clear - stretch out yr hands/towards that goal/you know what goes on below/you can see/ blood flows/fields grow/the sun knows/when you weep . he saw himself walking clear/he watched his hand as doors were close ... he turned from the house/of chastening year /to yield, to cede /to some course unknown .
