Three Weeks & After

THREE WEEKS & AFTER :
* three weeks were passing/ while I was laughing/laughing in the winds playing around me/hard & cold hearted/ an armour of secrets/ curled & wrapped for me, clinging like a skin . she said: "you'll break - all of that is hate - and it is not helping you - she said I'll take all you have made - reshape it in love for you - all for you" . she tore at my face/she tried to erase me/I watched it happen, over & over & I watched it happen again/she spat out my words/she threw them in my face/I watched it happen, word upon word & then/I watched it happening/& I looked away .
*three weeks were passing/& still I was laughing/watching like a hawker your move on me/forsaken for certain - a long & lingering death-knell/hidden wistfully, in what a lover sees .
*three weeks are nothing/they never are anything/& I'm always laughing .

SHE WALTZES BY THIS WINDOW
*all of the diamonds/all of the gold/that I have lost/she's taken it/she dances past this door .all of the jewels/fantastic robes/have been & gone/she's taken it/she waltzes by this window/colder than stone .
*& I'm the one to tell you that its happening/& I'm the one to spread the words/that hurt, that destroy all you've heard/I'm the one to tell you that its happening/& I'm the one to speak & say this breaking tongue/this shattered word/its happening : I can't see where to go .
*who bears this shadow?/who is pale memory?/who bays the moon down to take me/she glides by these floors - yes, sick & dry violets/shrink to this day/all dim light & dead fire/she's taken it/she waltzes by this window/colder than stone ... its happening : & I don't want to know - not for all of the diamonds, colder than stone .

BEATEN GOLD
* & its always you/&its always you/&when the sweetened days dies thru/it is always you .
* you've a glow in you/like the gold of truth/time beaten & proved/youve a glow to you - yr elated/patient, waiting - strength of singing resonance - you've a glow that cuts thru .
*& now you can know me/& somehow I can know you/I am forsaken, & I am abused/but want for you/& where you lead me to/ah, its got to be true/& I need to get to you/to be drowned in you - overtake me, override me - let me know I'm only meant to be by you, proved beside you - let me never leave there again/for I want to be as you .

WAYS OF GOING
* you thirsted for new words then - you clamoured for that difference - a way of just being yr own, you said : a day without me listening - & knowing as yr speaking you were flying above the place I'd pin you down to your butterfly attitudes ... but, what about all we've said/and what about all we've done/ & what about where it all was going/& what about all I thought I knew ( "yr heart serves a slave/yr heart runs away/yr hearts just a slave" thats what you said - "so many ways of going/that I will never know/& I don't know the ways of going" that's what I've said) .
* & searching for new meaning - we never even heard our own words - & you went on yr own sweet way - yr love has no limits: looking for a mystery, a mysterious fixture - to compel you from the ways of going - you went only for your own love .
* & what about all we've said/and what about all we've done/ & what about where it all was going/& what about all I thought I knew ( "yr heart just a slave/yr heart runs away/yr hearts just a slave" thats what you said - "so many ways of going/that I will never know/& I don't know the ways of going" that's what I've said) .
* you thirsted for new words then .
